Inventory of the Estate of Nicholas Humes

An Inventory of the Estate both Real and Personal whereof Nicholas Humes late of Uxbridge in the county of Worcester and a housewright, deceased. Died, seized, and possessed of /viz/

To the real estate containing about 35 acres of land

with the buildings thereon £150- 0- 0

To 3 chests, one case of drawers, and three wheels 1 –4- 10

To 3 iron pots, a brass kettle, and iron basin, and skillet 1 –15- 8

To one iron kettle, 2 trammels, a fine shovel and tongs 0 –19- 4

To the pewter, a tin funnel, and earthen ware, two

glass bottles and chairs 1 - 3- 0

To 11 cedar tubs, 4 pails, one piggin, and his wearing apparel 6- 12- 6

To 2 cows, 1 heifer, 1 colt, 2 swine, 15 sheep, saddle and bridle 15- 19- 8

To the best bed and furniture thereto belonging 4- 14- 0

To 7 trays, one 2 quartz bottle, a razor, a box rule, and 2 hoes 0- 11- 0

To a loom, 6 plates, wooden dishes, a ladle, 2 scyles [sic] , and books 1- 12- 2

To 2 beds and bedding, a frying pan, and beetle and wedges 2- 6- 8

To some linning, a candlestick, a nail, gimlet and a sugar box 0 - 4- 4

To the joyner's tools and carpenter's tools, 2 axes, and 3 bells 1- 5- 6

To the horse tackling, draft chain, clevis and pin 0- 14- 6

To sixteen pounds of sheep's wool 1- 0- 0

To some lumber in chamber, a seive bottom, and iron kettle 0- 18- 0

To one gun, one pillion, a warming pan, and a looking glass 1- 10- 4

To one plow with the irons, a shod shovel, and a grindstone 0- 12- 6

To 2 scythes and tackling, a pitchfork, and a wooden tunnel 0- 11- 1

To 2 barrels of cider, 7 cider barrels, and a churn 1–12 -0

The sum total £195 – 2- 1
